I'm Pawan

Welcome to my world where I am bridging Buddhist wisdom, neuroscience, and mindfulness to help you heal from trauma and rediscover peace.  I believe we don’t heal from trauma, we heal with it. I integrate Buddhist meditation, Jungian psychology, and neuroscience to create a grounded, compassionate approach to healing that honors both science and spirit.

Over the past two decades, I’ve guided thousands of students and clients from all walks of life, helping them move from survival and self-protection into compassion, joy, gratitude, and equanimity.

Through individual sessions, mentorship programs, group classes, and public teaching, I offer trauma-informed mindfulness practices that cultivate nervous-system safety, self-compassion, and embodied awareness.

My teaching style is warm, clear, and practical. Whether you’re beginning your mindfulness journey or are a seasoned practitioner, you’ll find that the practices I share are simple to learn and profoundly transformative.

My Journey

I was born and raised in Delhi, India, in a home where meditation, prayer, and devotion were as natural as breathing. My earliest memories are of my family’s daily Samadhi (concentration) practice, moments of deep stillness that revealed how vast and luminous the human mind can be.

But as an adult living in the U.S., I found it harder to sustain those states of peace. The pace of corporate life, the pressure of deadlines, and old emotional wounds left me disconnected from the bliss I once knew. The stillness was there within me, but my nervous system was not yet free to rest within it.

Everything shifted in October 2001 when I attended a retreat with Jack Kornfield at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. During a walking meditation, I felt my heart reopen. “More of this,” I promised myself. That moment became the turning point of my life.

“The way you hold me, consistent, compassionate, never wavering, is imprinting my system in a way I never got as a child. Thank you.”

— Jodi, SEP

From Student to Teacher

Mindfulness evolved from a personal refuge into a lifelong discipline. I trained extensively with Peter A. Levine, founder of Somatic Experiencing®, and deepened my studies with Dr. Raja Selvam, Kathy Kain, Diane Poole Heller, and many others in the fields of trauma resolution and somatic psychology.

Along the way, I integrated Buddhist meditation, Jungian psychology, and neuroscience to create a grounded, compassionate approach to healing that brings you into wholeness. I believe mindfulness allows us to meet pain without resistance, to regulate our nervous system, and to rediscover the innate joy that was never truly lost.  My deepest desire it to support your healing and blossoming into your true essence, power and aliveness.

“I am blossoming! I can feel my capacity growing and I am so touched by your presence and support in this growing of me. Each time I do a case consult or session with you, I am amazed at the shifts inside of me.”
